Personality

This weekend has been what I can only describe as a blur. A very boring, tiring blur. I had a huge pile of homework staring at me in the face and I couldn't put it off for any longer. What has to be done has to be done basically. I learnt that my little bunny who I've been calling 'she' for 7 years is infact a 'he'. Oh dear.
Male/female bunnies aside, I took this rather insightful personality test today. It's pretty accurate (in my oppinion anyhow). This is my personality:

Introvert/Sensing/Thinking/Perceiving

Naturally reserved and thriving on adventure and challenge, you much prefer action to conversation. You also have a penchant for observing what is going on around you. You enjoy activities that require hands on skills. Resourceful and independent, your motivations come from within you. You are a collector of information, rational, realistic and pragmatic. People often have a difficult time figuring you out, and you will remain a mystery to many.

In relationships you are not one to have deep talks, but would rather let your actions speak for you. You display your love and care for others by doing practical things for them. You are not one to take on too many commitments or obligations--if any. You need your time alone and even though you are probably very loyal, this may cause conflict at times. You are not one to start fights, but you wont back away from one either.

Famous People of Your Type:

Charles Bronson, Tom Cruise, James Dean, Clint Eastwood, Zachary Taylor, Burt Reynolds, Keith Richards, Charlie Yeager, Frank Zappa.

Occupations Suited to Your Type Include:

Auditor, carpenter, coach, programmer, economist, engineer, farmer, firefighter, marine biologist, mechanic, paramedic, law officer, investigator, steelworker, surveyor, and transportation operator.

Well, the personality describes me well. That's 100% me. It's also quite an honour to have a 'similar personality' to Frank Zappa and Keith Richards! However, those occupations are awful. I wouldn't dream of becomming either of these professions.
Anyway, that's all I have to share.
Rove is about to start and I don't want to miss it.
Apologises for this ever so dull post.
I'll do some extreme bitching in my next post - promise!

rain, rain, rain.

This is going to be a rather quick - and hasty - update. I only have 5 minutes to write this so we'll see how I go. The title of this post basically sums up the weather here. All rain, no sun. I actually love winter, maybe a bit more than summer (honestly, who enjoys the smell of body odour from other beings?) but I'm wanting summer. Now. Thank-you.

On another note, I don't appreciate being stared at by Rene Descartes whilst attempting to do very difficult algebra work which I don't really understand. Yes, I know you were an influential mathematician but your smug stare is not welcome Mr. Descartes, nor is it benefiting me.
Yes, this took under 5 minutes to write. I'm now going to go watch some heartfelt entertainment.
May peace be with you.

lovers and friends

Right now I'm sitting on my bed, watching reruns of NCIS (I pretty much think Abby is the best thing about the show) and reading books regarding course selections.

This may sound crazy but I've noticed a pattern is developing here - I've noticed that everytime I post, someone has passed away.
Am I some sort of jinx? Oh my, I'm worried.
This time producer and all round legend Jerry Wexler died on the 15th at the age of 91. Wexler assisted in making Atlantic Records the powerhouse it is today, as well as guiding such music legends like Aretha Franklin and Led Zeppelin.
[Source]

Deaths aside, I'm rather dissapointed that MGMT's Melbourne gig is over 18. I was really looking forward to going and I guess you can say, I'm devistated I can't. Yet another pattern developing? Yes there is as far as I'm concerned. You see, I've noticed that everytime I get excited about something, it never works out OR something goes completely pearshaped. I have the worst luck in the world.
Anyway, for all you lucky critters who are over age and are interested in attending....the shows are sold out.
Sorry guys!
However, they're releasing a new album sometime next year. New album=another tour to the land down under??

Moving on, I received my recommendations for the maths subjects I should take next year (NOTE: should, not have too). Anyway, apparently I should take General Math Methods & Math Methods CAS. No thankyou. Foundation Math please, I've decided that already and, speaking of which, I've also decided on my other subjects: Literature, Media, Photography, Food Tech, Buisness Managment & Foundation Maths. Anyone else taking these subjects?

So, this is all I have to say.
But a quick favour/question - who wants to come shopping with me this weekend?

RIP Bernie Mac.

Sooo, where to begin?

This morning I was checking out Perez Hilton's blog, like I frquently do, just to see if anything of interest is mentioned. It has been confirmed by the man himself (Perez Hilton, duh!) that Bernie Mac died after being hospitalized for the past several days. RIP. If you, like my parents - who I might add have been disowned by me - have no idea who Bernie Mac is, I strongly suggest you do some reasearch!

On a more positive note, one of my favorite bands, Kings of Leon, have announced some important news
regarding their album, as well as annoucing some upcomming tourdates (none are in Australia though - how predictable!). The new album will be released September 23 in America and September 22 in the UK and I think albums are released the same date as the UK which means I'll be in Queensland when its released. Damn. Anyway, the first single will DEFINATLY be 'Sex on Fire' (I wasn't to sure about that, but its been comfirmed 100%) and will be released on the September 8 (UK - digitally) and September 15 (UK - physically).

Oh and for those who don't know (but I don't really know how you COULDN'T know), the albums called 'Only by the Night'. The tracklist for the album is as follows:
1. Closer
2. Crawl
3. Sex on Fire.
4. Use Somebody
5. Manhattan
6. Reverly
7. 17
8. Notion
9. I Want You
10. Be Somebody
11. Cold Desert

Finally, I'll say this - a really good point was made this morning. I was watching Video Hits (which I rarley watch) and they were interviewing Amandah and Timmy from Operator Please, talking about bands and whatnot. The topic of MGMT came up and both praised Andrew VanWyngarden's (my current luva) performance, his 'aurora' and his ability to be CCC, all without any effort ofcourse. Anyway, Amandah made a good point about how all the bands (MGMT and The Wombats were used as examples) that are doing really well in Europe, mainly the UK, are SUPER-SUPER-SUPER indie here in Australia. I wouldn't say MGMT are that indie anymore though. Since 'Electric Feel' graced our airwaves and television sets a month ago, it seems everyone suddenly loves them. Which isn't a bad thing at all. I just hope the 'muzzas' don't get into them, but if they do they'll only like 'Electric Feel' because as far as I'm concerned, the rest of the album isn't reallt 'muzza-friendly'.

I hate Star Wars.

but I kind of like this photograph...

I'm really glad it's the weekend. I'm pretty damn tired at the moment. Counting down the weeks until Queensland. I'm pretty damn excited to be quite frank, and I honestly can't wait until I'm away from my parents. Probably sounds rude but it's a much deserved break for everyone. I really need to go shopping either this weekend or next weekend, so if you're up for it and want to hang out, let me know. I need to get QLD supplies haha.
As we all know (and if you don't know it's pretty obvious you've been living under a rock for the past few years) the Olympics start tonight/tommorrow. I really don't even care. I'm not watching it. I refuse too (for those who know me well will infact know why I refuse to watch it). All I can say is 'Thank God for Foxtel!' I pity the poor souls who don't have it.

I hate scenequeens. I don't see the point in them. Really. No, I don't think they're a waste of space. They're a waste of MBs. I'll admit I'm fond of Audrey Kitching though. I think she's very pretty and isn't annoying. She, unlike other scenequeens, obviously doesn't need to date a musican 24/7 in order to do 'modelling' (lets face it, she's gotten further being single opposed to dating Brendon and Ronnie). Plus, she has a certin vibe to her.

The 'other' scenequeens basically, piss me off. I don't even understand why people find them attractive. They look like an everyday person. Nothing special. Except they have their photographs taken by professional photographers (which I could do too) and make (shitty) clothes and jewellery. Not to mention they over use photoshop like crazy. For example, I want overseas last year and I saw a certin scenequeen, who shall remian nameless, a few feet away from me. I'm surprised I even recognized her. She looks way different in real life than in her photos. Bad fake tan. Bad makeup. Also looks thinner in photos than real life. You're probably thinking I'm jealous. Nope. I'm not really. Sure, I get jealous easily (friends - you'd understand this. Especially Morgan) but I'm not jealous of these girls. What annoys me the most is that many people work their asses off to get into fashion or modelling but these girls do nothing but date musicians from shitty bands. It all comes easy for them. Hopefully this crap blows over soon. I know I probably sound like I'm contradicting myself when I say I like Audrey but can't stand the other scene queens, but trust me, Audrey is a lot more useful compared to the Hanna Beths and Jac Vaneks.

Yes, I just wrote a load of crap. Happy reading.

it's offical.

Only one third of Wolfmother remains.

www.myspace.com/wolfmother

I had heard several rumours regarding this but waited until an offical statement. Shame really.

Anyway, tommorrow is friday! Super happy about that BUT I have to stay afterschool to finish an english presentaion on shakespeare. Could have done it this weekend at someones house but no help there. Meh.

Mina lent me her copy of 'Eclipse' today...I haven't began reading it. Kinda hilarious really. She borrowed my copy of 'Twilight' and when we traded novels, we did it so quickly you'd think it was drugs.

Sorry if this post makes no sense. I'm tired. Very tired.

Peace xo

Oh no they didn't!

So, as you know it's a wednesday night and at 9.30pm, Gene Simmons: Family Jewels is on. So as usual, the whole family (including cat) come upstairs and are glued to the television set for half n hour. However, its not on tonight! Instead, some Angelina Jolie special is on. Downer. Major downer.

To amuse myself, I began 'researching' models and then I realised: they're are three types of model 'body types':
'Body type one': models who are natrually 'waiflike'. Models such as Kate Moss and possibly Jessica Stam fall under this catergory.
'Body Type two': models who are unnatrually 'waiflike' and diet to achieve super-skinnyness.
'Body type three': models who are skinny but aren't 'waif' and actually have some meat on their bones, like Miranda Kerr, Heidi Klum, Tyra Banks, Megan Gale, etc.

Another fact: 80% of models aren't even pretty. Funny that. Looks don't count.
However, in my humble opinion, this model has to be the prettiest of all:

She's gorgeous. I'd kill for her trademark dimples. Not to mention her body haha.

Tommorrow we're watching Romeo and Juliet for English. Pretty sure its the Leo Dicaprio and Clare Danes version. I'm prepared to fall asleep.

By any chance, does someone have Microsoft PowerPoint on their computer? I really need to finish my Shakespeare slideshow and I don't have PowerPoint on my computer. Anyone have it? If so, would I be able to come over this weekend to use it? Thankyou!

Finale.

To be perfectly honest, I don't even know why I'm blogging right now. There's nothing to say. Nothing of intrest has occured. Tonights been rather dull. Full of boredom. Irritation. Currently, I'm watching the season finale of 'Skins', which I've already seen. Its Chris' funeral right now and I'm basically bawling like a six month old. This show never fails to make me emotional. Before I was watching 'Johnny Got His Gun'. Another sad film. Definatly a must see though.

As I had previously mentioned, I had a Probability test in Maths. Needless to say, I failed. I know I have. It was honestly the most confusing nonsense I've read in my life. And I'm not the only one who thinks so. I think we're redoing it in the next few days. Hopefully it'll be a lot easier.

Tommorrow I have to act out Romeo and Juliet. Hopefully I'll get out of it. Not my thing to be honest haha.

Skins is almost finished. I've kind of dragged out this blog...been writing it for the past 15-20mins. I'm full of irritation. Negative energy. Other then that, I feel at ease with everything. Strange emotion.

Ill wrap this up before I stretch this blog out anymore than needed.

Night xo
