BASICALLY, the past few months I've fallen in love with 'data moshing'.
For those whom aren't familiar with the term, data moshing (a.k.a ) is when instead of a 'cut' between scenes, there's smooth transitions created by removing key frames and the delta frames persisting. Thus, you're left with a somewhat weird, colourful film!
Here is an example of data moshing. Chairlift are one of the first to use this technique for an entire video (well, from what I know).

Kanye West (who...erm, is like, a tool) also did data moshing for one of his music videos, but ended up getting a bit annoyed that his video came out before Chairlift's, resulting in the single to be boycott (Kanye's song - not Chairlift's).
So, right now I'm looking for a really good, highly recommended program for data moshing.
Any info? x x
